Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and [Company Name] ("we," "us," "our"), the operator of DineCraft.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.

If you are using DineCraft on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

DineCraft is a meal-planning web application that lets you create, save, and schedule meals; generate meal suggestions and weekly plans using AI; produce shopping lists; and track approximate macronutrient values.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old to use DineCraft.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.

Some features ("Pro" features) require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, and feature inclusions are described at the point of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing or plan contents with reasonable advance notice. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to cancel before it takes effect.

EU consumer right of withdrawal: where applicable, by starting a Pro subscription with immediate access to digital content, you expressly request that performance begin before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Refunds beyond what is required by mandatory consumer-protection law are at our discretion.

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our prompts or models; abuse the service, including by automated scraping, excessive request volume, or bypassing rate limits; use the service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes others' rights; misrepresent your identity or impersonate others; or circumvent or interfere with security features.

DineCraft — including its software, design, branding, and original content — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g. your own meals, notes, preferences). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, and process that content as necessary to operate the service.

You may use AI-generated meals, recipes, and shopping lists produced for your account for personal, non-commercial purposes. AI output may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions, and we make no claim that you can register copyright in it.

DineCraft relies on third-party providers, including but not limited to USDA FoodData Central (nutritional reference data), Neon (database and authentication), and external AI providers for text and image generation.

We do not control these providers and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms. Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of DineCraft at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned and unplanned downtime may occur.

You may stop using DineCraft and delete your account at any time from account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing the service to you would create undue risk.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DineCraft is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or health outcomes, arising from or related to your use of DineCraft — including, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on AI-generated nutritional information, recipes, or ingredient lists.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to DineCraft is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or your statutory consumer rights.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights — except to the extent prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [City, Hungary], unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your country of habitual residence and may use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of DineCraft after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the service.
